I suppose it about time I moved on from the excellence that is goblin-king Bowie.

Lately I find myself turning into a grown up. Its an uneasy transition, to say the least, and I'm fighting it every step of the way but it seems to be happening anyway. My days are filled with Tafe or homework or domestic things like cleaning and food shopping, I have a newly acquired job, I spend an evening at my parents house every week drinking nice wine and having civilised conversation...I have a fucking gym membership (and I secretly quite enjoy going) for crying out loud!

*sigh* Any minute now I'm going to turn into some Coldplay loving, respectable suit wearing, middle management type person. I'm trying to take comfort in the knowledge that I still vehemently hate morning talk shows and Oprah, All is not lost, hopefully.

You're going to a Shosty recital and you didn't tell me? I'm gutted. blackeyed If I'd known that was on, I'd be going to that, too. frown Ah well, as I'm probably going to one in October, I'll give this one a miss and brave the Hula Bula bar wiv the others wink

You must fight the grown-up disease! Look at me! I've done it! I'm still dumb and irresponsible! Or maybe I'm just disorganised? Anyway, what exactly is "grown-up"? I mean, if you want to live in comfort, as most of us do, you need to do a few things wether you're young or old. Having a credit card doesn't mean you're grown up nor does grocery shopping. Getting drunk or stoned doesn't mean yer immature either. It's all relative, anyway! Sorry, I'll stop waffling.
