There's a little idea that's been quietly bouncing around in my head lately. It's been whispering, tugging, maybe even stomping a little now - hey, it's time for a self-portrait series. And not just any series, but something raw, soft, bold. A poetic exploration of nudity, light and emotion. Something that feels like me.
But... I'll be honest. I'm hesitating.
Not because I don't want to - my camera is practically begging me to - but because, like many of us, sometimes I need a little push. A reminder that it's okay to put myself in front of the lens. To take up space. To be vulnerable, sensual, thoughtful, seen. So this post is me lighting that little fire under my own ass.
I want this series to be natural and honest. To dance with light and shadow. I want to shoot in that dreamy little corner of the house where the afternoon sun hits just right. No performative poses, no heavy editing - just me, my body, and the quiet joy of creating something that feels alive.
Until I get there (soon, I promise), here are some images from past shoots. My style? A little vintage, a little witchy, always feminine, and proudly mine.
If you're feeling the same pull-maybe this is your nudge, too. Let's go make art.
