Do you ever just feel like sticking your tongue out and making that flatulence sound to describe your day? That's how I feel right now. It wasn't bad, it wasn't good. It was busy, but it was disgustingly hot. I had to go out in it just a few times and I felt like barfing. My dad and my brother both work construction, building roads and freeways. I have no idea how they survive. My dad's been doing hard labor like this for 35 yars or so. My brother, I guess for about 15 years (maybe more).
This lady at work, who I absolutely cannot stand, well, she wasn't in today because her sister was in a very bad car accident. She's on life support I guess and the family was pretty close to taking her off of it over the weekend. I feel guilty for my horrible thoughts. I mean, I feel bad for her sister and the family that they're going through this. But I cannot help but think this woman is going to use this situation, like she uses every piece of drama in her life, to get attention. The woman is 40 years old and acts like a selfish teenager. She has a 14 year old and a 23 year old. The 14 year old, she's supposed to have custody over and basically, the 23 year old has her. The lady I work with lives with her boyfriend, but give her kids money for rent and stuff. Now she's trying to get child support from her ex-husband and he's fighting to get back custody. She didn't even have custody of her until the ex-hubby went to jail for probation violation. The ex assaulted her when he found out she was cheating on her. Tried to strangle her and she had to get air-evacced. She didn't even try to get her daughter away from him. She let him keep custody of her, even though he acted so violently towards her. Then, when her daughter was scared to go home after a weekend with her because her dad had been drinking, she still dropped her off and wouldn't get her out of the situation. Now, she's playing the role of concerned mom to anyone who'll listen. Meanwhile, her daughter is about to fail 8th grade because she missed 50+ days of school and is flunking. Instead of trying to make her go to school, she's fighting the school board and has even hired an advocate. Her new boyfriend even had the nerve to call her son and tell him he shouldn't be drinking. It upsets his mom and he's taking care of his sister. Hello! He's 23, not her dad and should be able to drink and party and whatever without having to be responsible for his little sister who needs an actual MOTHER at home with her before she starts drinking and winds up pregnant at 15! What makes this completely ironic, is this chick works for CPS as a Secretary and has had her eyes on a CPS worker position!!!
Anyway, I just went off on this woman only because I know when she comes back to work, she just has another way to claim she's a victim and desperately seek attention from everyone who walks throught the door! Yes, this is a sad, tragic event, but it's almost like the boy who cried wolf!!! Grrrr!! She comes in late daily, takes 2 hour lunches, and won't work to save her life. She brings all her drama with her, each and every day, and never hangs up the damn phone, dealing with her personal stuff.
I guess I needed to get her drama off my chest...

I also want to thank you for your comment about my situation. I hadn't even really thought about it from the view that you mentioned.
Look at it this way, if she has her eyes on the CPS worker job....she won't notice you sneaking up with the knife....
