Today is my baby's birthday. Every year on one of my kids birthday and the day(s) leading up, I play a little game. It goes something like "two years ago, about right now I was ______________"
It's really fun, and now that my twins are older, they're actually a little more interested in hearing the story of their birth. They like to hear about the helicopter ride, and about the doctor seeing my daughter's butt first, before seeing my son's head. Ava, well she just hears me talking. Her story is really much shorter than the twins since I was only in the hospital a few hours before her birth.
Ahhhh, Motherhood... It's a beautiful thing.
