5. Family (they are last today because I realize I hate holidays with them)
I am not a religous person by any means. Last night I stayed at my brothers house. Helped him and his wife get all the food ready to cook and baked some goodies. Woke up at 8am to help them start cooking and stuff. Not a bad day at all. My mother and father showed up then my aunt and cousin. They were all over the place in the way and driving me crazy. My brother had deep fried a turkey as well as had one in the oven. The timing was great everything was done at the same time, which never happens.... As we are trying to get the food on the table and my father is trying to cut the turkey my mother and aunt just kept sticking thier grubby little fingers all over the place in the potatoes, corn, stuffing and grabbing turkey. I was trying to do my best not to get pissed off but I was. Got my plate ready and headed to the table to eat. Realized I didnt' have my drink so went back upstairs to get the drinks and my mothers just about to steal food off my plate. I feel really bad now but I told her I was going to punch her in the face if she touched my plate. Needless to say I was slightly hungry and on edge....
Well..... enough said.. The holiday is over. I have to work tomorrow. woo hoo..
