*sigh* so bush is back for another 4 years of bullshit. how very disappointing. 
oh well, i did my part and hopefully all of you did too.
on a lighter and even more painful note, i went out friday night with imnutz and got my tongue pierced. it didnt hurt as much as a thought it would. HOWEVER, the aftermath SUCKS! my tongue was so swollen over the weekend i could barely talk. eating takes forever and hurts a whole lot. ive been through nearly 2 bottles of biotene mouthwash and that shits expensive! but like my piercer, iva, said the first few days your going to wish you didnt do this to yourself but it will be worth it. i hope shes right.
today was my first day back volunteering in the live animal center at the museum. its been a couple years since ive been there to work. i got to play with 3 parrots-a mullacan cockatoo, an african grey parrot and a blue & gold macaw.
good times. an alligator got loose in the reptile room and jason had to come get it. we have 3 gators. they are all huge and nasty. we have to get rid of them soon (ie give them to a reptile house/zoo).
i just got a job for HOT TOPIC and thanx to becky for getting me in. they needed an ass load of people for seasonal. if all goes well maybe i can get in full time. who knows? either way ill have income and a swell discount!
i was tryin to find a decent pic for this update but i gave up. instead, im going to link to my museums website, specifically the area i spend most of my time. (outside in-but i work in other areas as well) cruise around the site its got some pretty cool stuff!
