~sigh~ Still no job.
But here's what I was told.
"We realized we had less positions to fill then we originally thought, Kat loved your interview and wants to know if its okay if we hold on to your application for when another position opens."
I suppose that's good right? I was more upset because when I went back to the store with a friend I found out they allow piercings there because the girl that talked to us when we walked in had pink hair highlights and snakebites. So I was extremely excited to see I'd be able to get my piercings done, and have them there. [Originally I was going to do one, put a clear one in, and do the next...ect] I want them to call me back lol.
But I am still searching.
This weekend I slept over at a friends house, on Monday she brought me to a club called the Saloon, which does free goth night on monday nights. It was a blast! The funny thing is I walked inside and tried to hand the guy my ID and he goes "You don't need to show me your ID" and he put a star wrist band around my...wrist, and I told him "yes I do, I'm 19" and he goes "oh!"...and cut the braclet off and put on the x's.
So part of me was flattered that I looked 21, the other part of me...was a little upset that I looked older than I do, but since I'm so short, it doesn't happen that often.
We met some guy named Tommy who was into our friend Tim, but we held up a good conversation....and then some other kid from our school named Greg. ~shrugs~ I think it was Greg....but the music was really good and I loved the atmosphere.
Sunday night, my friend and I watched Repo! The Genetic Opera.
It was amazing.
It had Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer in it, and also Paris Hilton.... the thought of Paris Hilton being in it sorta turned me away for a minute, but when she first came on screen, I didn't even recognize her until my friend pointed her out....she looks good in goth....obviously they did something with her voice because it was deeper than when she originally sings...but I was very respectful of her performance because she did quite well. I was almost shocked....in all honesty though...she sorta plays herself... the daughter of the man who owns Gene Co...she's filthy rich and is heavily into plastic surgery. [maybe a more out there version]Hilton's Preformance Pieces.
~shrugs~ I liked it.
Either way the vocal performances are beautiful. Thought I believe the main girl's voice could have been used to a lot stronger potential...
There is one childish song where she sings about being 17...but she's singing about being 17 so it makes sense that it's childish right?
