i haven't updated in a while...
first of all, i have to send a big appology to sgsac and sgsf for not making it out to the bbq yesterday.
i wasn't really feeling that good yesterday and i ended up getting out of work late. i wouldn't have got there until about 6:30 or so and i couldn't have stayed that that long anyway. i was really looking forward to going to that too. i suck.
i must say that i am pretty damn proud of myself. i have been the type of person that NEVER puts eyedrops in their eyes. i can't do it. when i was younger and i needed eye drops my parents would have to hold me down and do it for me. well, last week my niece accidentally scratched my eye. i went to the doctor (which is a thing i also very rarely do) and he gave me 2 different prescriptions for eyedrops.
i have been putting them in though! yay! for me. it is still a little irritated but it feels much better than what it did. 
i watched the secret of nimh for the first time since i was a little girl. my wonderful boyfriend got it for me for my birthday, i just haven't had a chance to watch it. it was really weird because i haven't seen it for so long but certain parts looked familar to me.

thanks for the weekend well wishes. sorry about your eye and late work and stuff. as it turns out, I had a pretty good weekend except for seeing the ex whom you remind me of and it triggered a cascade of memories and thoughts that sort of have me wondering. not necessarily bad or sad stuff, but sort of a bumrush of "think about these things now! and do not stop for a week." anywho, you are wonderful. a veritable "lee of the stone."
