I have to acknowledge my charmed life in this update. Yesterday at work, I was the only one who escaped a Joan Crawford-style meltdown courtesy of my boss. Then in the afternoon while I was napping with kitties, my CPA called me to tell me that I owe $66 to the IRS by Friday instead of the $2000 I had expected.
This is un-fucking-believable.
Something about a sales tax break from buying my Explorer last year saved my ass. I did not exactly have as much as two grand ready to send. Plus, this guy finds every crazy deduction for me imaginable. He rocks.
Had a nice little workout, drank a bottle of wine, hmmm what's next?
