How 'bout a happier update?
Great weekend w/ Elektra_Descends and Sebsis. They watched the fury that is my appetite as I put away a gigantic calzone and then looked to see what they had left on their plates. My friends usually know to just hand it over to me if they're not in the Clean Plate Club. Then we piled on the couch for a viewing of Jawbreaker, during which the uncle and best friend bonded when they simultaneously imitated Marilyn Manson's "o-face" and sound effects. I was like "who are these freaks?" Whatever, I was just having my Rose McGowan fantasy (again).
Sunday was bar-b-que madness, w/ a brief break for me to go to a birthday get-together at an overrated restaurant. I didn't want to be there all dressed up, I wanted to be home hangin' w/ the guys in my Elvis t-shirt eating bratwurst. I managed to do both (remember how I like to eat?), but only a select few can see the Elvis t-shirt.
Did some responsible crap yesterday (ie, spent alot of money). Went to the dentist---I LOVE getting my teeth cleaned.
I treated myself to some new contacts, too. Yay! The eyes and teeth are good to go for another 6 months.
See? When I'm not passed out with a blood alcohol level of 3.75, I'm getting stuff DONE.
I'm meeting w/ my adorable aunt and cousin in a little while for lunch. Damn I got a good-looking family. I have to go get ready so I can try to look as good as my aunt. I wish my 17 year old emo cousin could go, too. Why the hell isn't she skipping school?
miss_lady factoid: I haven't had a drink since Thurs., pre-hospital stay.
Everyone is really enjoying my "snippy" attitude.
I still need to write back to some peeps. Thanks to everybody for your concern and/or laughter over my little "incident" last week.
