Silly Fun With My Basset Hound
Awww.... my poor put-upon basset hound. First of all she hates having her picture taken. I don' t know if she feels it's stealing her soul but she slinks away whenever I point a camera at her.
Here she is as I sneaked a photo from behind the laptop.
It was easier to get a picture later on when she was curled up and sleeping.
When I was cleaning the other day I found what I call the HAT OF SHAME!!!!
When Maggie was a puppy I saw this doggie sailor hat and thought it was so funny. When I brought it home and put it on her she just sat there and hung her head. I started calling it the HAT OF SHAME!!! when I joked it could be her punishment for chewing things or having accidents in the house.
So would you like to see the HAT OF SHAME!!!?

You might think this doesn't look so bad but let me show you what came before this picture.
First this - where she refused to look at me
Then I tried to get in her face and she still ignored me
Almost there... she's still trying to ignore me but I'm making it pretty hard
And then I took the picture with her looking at me. Then I took the hat off and she stomped upstairs to go to bed.
... until the next time that I bring out...
