Why Are My Cough Drops Ordering Me Around?

I was pretty sick last week. Last Sunday a cold hit me full on and it was the worst one Ive had in a while. I took part of a day off work (and I hate taking days off work). Ive used medication Ive never used before (Nyquil, Dayquil and Vaporub are pretty good actually).

Finally I was left with a nagging runny nose, sore throat and a bit of a cough. Friday I was going to a work event in the evening and figured it would look best if I didnt actually appear to have the plague.

So I popped my Dayquil and bought some Halls cough drops.

At work I was feeling that tickle in my throat and I popped my first Halls

On the wrapper to my cough drop: Keep your chin up and Dont wait to get started.

Why is it telling me this? Is it trying to cheer me up?

I take the next one and the expression on it may be cut off its just says You survived. This seems like a bit overdramatic. I mean, I have a cold, not Ebola.

Okay whats the next one?

Really? Champ? Am I eight? Is it going to tell me next to walk it off?

The next one says March forward!. Yikes, this is moving into boot camp yelling at me territory. Eek!

At the end of the day Im sure this is some silly marketing technique but you know what?

I totally want to buy more Halls.
