The Bear, The Shoes and My Love
The Bear
Let me tell you about Polar. Polar is the white stuffed bear Ive had since I was three. My Aunt S and Uncle D gave him to me on Christmas. Polar is a Charity Bear from Eatons and came with a (now long lost) red scarf. Polar is the exact right size to be used as a pillow.
The Polar that I have now is not the original Polar. A number of years ago my ex left the bedroom door open and a young Maggie chewed up Polars face and pulled out his stuffing. I was pretty upset. My ex brought Polar to his brothers wife who is a good seamstress to fix.
My sister found me a new Polar (which I call Polar 2.0) from her work. She works with woman who have been sexually assaulted and have a number of teddy bears around for women to hold while they talk or for their kids to pay with. She realized they had a Charity Bear and swapped it for another stuffed toy.
Sigh. Maggie got at Polar 2.0 but not as badly as original Polar.
The last time I saw Polar he was still at the brothers house. He was not fixed and now covered in drywall plaster as he was around some renovations they were doing. I wonder if Ill get him back now?
The Shoes
Went shopping yesterday and bought two new pairs of shoes (and a $6 Starbucks coffee). I knew for a while that I wanted some new fun sneakers and I found them. Black high top converse lined with pink and shiny purple. Yay!
Now Smaptie might tell you that I stole his idea because he bought new high top black Converse first. I dont think so I think he somehow saw the future and then copied me... so there!
My Love
Ive been feeling extra sappy about my guy Smaptie lately. Hes been there for me every single time I needed him. Hes listened to me cry and then made me laugh (even if it is with unfortunate comments about eating salami and using air compressors as sex toys).
Ive said that I want to tell the world how much I love him and this is how Im doing it. Smaptie I love you so much and well you know.
P.S. He asked me to also mention jerky and Hobo With a Shotgun (a movie he wants to take me to on our first date hes so romantic).
