My Home
Pink. That's what my house is. Pink.
Not by my choice mind you. The people who lived here before me though really seemed to like it. And not a nice pink. Dusty rose retirement home pink.
The upstairs bathroom? Pink.
The second bedroom? Pink.
The third bedroom? Pink.
The backsplash in the kitchen? Pink and green flowered wallpaper.
The bedroom? Pink on top with a flower boarder and flowered wallpaper below.
The main floor? Beige... until you start thinking about it... then you see the pink undertones.
The problem is twofold. One is that I hate painting. But the second is that I am a perfectionist. I don't want to paint one room without having a grand plan for the whole thing - furniture, curtains, rugs, etc.
Due to my lack of funds and laziness I've only changed one room - the bedroom. I could not wake up to that every morning.
So, my name is Miss Joy and I live in a pink house.
At least they took down the ballet bar when they moved out.

When I was little my Ken doll's head would always pop off. So we would just play with him headless. He was a minor character anyway. Never had Skipper... did have a pink corvette for my Barbies. I wouldn't mind a real pink corvette.
