Guitarist or Bassist Required - Uninvited Guest
Hiya - this is very sad news as Shaun from my new band Uninvited Guest has decided to leave. Was amazing sharing the stage with him (if only for a couple of times) and even though I've only known him a few months I'm going to miss him lots as he was an ace guy to be with.
I've copied the full message from our myspace to post out as a bulletin as we really need to try and reach as many pontential new members as possible in our search to find a new band member - so if any of you can repost this that'd be *VERY* helpful.

Shaun Cope, our guitarist, has decided to leave Uninvited Guest, as he is unable to undertake the commitments involved, especially now with our recent signing to German Label 'Maddening Media' (i.e. playing abroad etc). Shaun has been a member of the band for 8 years and we are sad to see him go, his leaving was amicable, we remain close friends and we wish him all the best for his future.
However, this means that we are now actively seeking a new guitarist or bassist (our current bassist Jane Dalton is happy to play guitar or bass so either replacement will be fine).
As we are now a signed band the stakes are higher, therefore any applicant must be accomplished in their instrument, with their own transport and gear. Live experience is also a big advantage as UK dates are already booked this year and European dates are a strong possibility.
We are looking for a full time member of the band (we already have a temporary replacement for the next gig). You must be committed and dedicated and you must also have a strong visual image (help in this department will be provided as long has you have to attitude and willingness to embrace the UG visual aesthetic).
2008 is set to be a BIG year for Uninvited Guest, so if you want to be a part of our band and feel that you 'cut the mustard' please make initial enquiries via our email at info@uninvitedmusic.com or via our myspace at www.myspace.com/uninvitedguestuk.

Of all things, I live in Tulsa, OK and have actually heard of a band called Uninvited Guest. Have you ever gotten out on this side of the pond or is it just a coincidental band name?
