I found some old comic books when I was cleaning out my closet. They were some Image and Marvel comics circa '93 and '94. I had a fleeting thought of selling them so I looked up prices to see what they were worth. After searching for comic book stores over the internet I drove to one and inquired if they bought back-issues. The owner said he buys comics from the 60s and 70s (even though he sold more recent issues). He told me of another place but I didn't feel like driving out to another shop. I'm kind of glad because at the last second I didn't want to give up a chunk of my childhood. And geekhood. At least I can still say, "I went through a phase when Jim Lee moved from Marvel to Image and I followed" and have proof.
