Tomorrow I am on a plane back to Alaska! I am so happy to finally be going home. It would have been nice if I could have been healed down here, but life goes on. My Army career is pretty much over, but my life is not.

I'll have to find my place in the world!

Back from San Fran! Had a nice chill time with my uncle. How's everyone else?

Well, I'm off to San Rafael, CA for the weekend! It's gonna be pretty fucking cool to hang out with my uncle. I haven't seen him since '95! It's nice to spend some time with family.

Ten years ago today I graduated from U.S. Army Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri as a 12B Combat Engineer. I was held over for a week then shipped to Fort Benning, Georgia for Airborne School. 10 years later, I am still in the Army, but for how much longer is up too the doctors.

I'm heading to San Rafael, CA next week to spend some time with my uncle and his family. I haven't seen him since 1995. It will be nice to spend some time with family, something I don't get to do often.

Hopefully, the week after that I'll be heading home to Alaska.

I'm going home at the end of the month! I am so glad to be heading home! I miss my cats, my house and my stuff.

This weekend was alright. Got to hang with some good friends, always a plus.
I'm really tired though, not sleeping well at all. One of my doctors mentioned that I looked tired.

I'm ready to go home.

Sorry to bitch about medications all the time. It's just that so much of my life is wrapped up in this. My life is basically on hold till I get better or the Army retires me.

I am beginning to really not like this medication. I feel slow, I am more confused, my feet, hands, and face tingle. I get more dizzy than usual. I have to piss more often. And to top it off, I still get headaches! They are not as bad, but considering the rest, I'd take the headaches over this.

Now I'm on Diamox. Its used to treat altitude sickness. Guess what? Still have headaches. Fucking sucks. AS a bonus, I feel even more lightheaded and it feels like someone punched me in the nose! Weird!

Last week my doctor tried to treat my headaches with Botox. I've heard that there have been very good results stopping the headaches with Botox injections. But not for me. My treatment did not work.
