Yum yum yum!
The icing failed twice, but I scrapped the original recipe and just made my own up... which was kind of sickly, but very scrummy! I made them for climb and cake night, and they all got eaten, so I know I haven't failed at life quite yet!
I'm not cutting my hair, not drastically anyway. I think I'll keep at growing it and just add in some layers to give it a nicer shape and better body.
So so so so so, today I went to work with my mom (which I guess makes up for having never gone on a 'take your daughter to work' day) and supervised rowdy children all day. They're only nursery aged and they were doing a half mile sponsored walk around a farm which was nice, the weather was lovely (which equalled sunburn unfortunately).
There were all kinds of stalls and shops set up, including an animal man! I loved it, today I've held a grass snake, a boa constrictor, a meer cat, a tarantula and an owl
We ran off to the farm, too and there were ponies, a massive shire horse, a peacock and a peahen. I've become a little bit enamored of peacocks lately, keep drawing them...

peacocks are cool. have recently moved back to the country side sort of and theres a country park with them. noisy, but very pretty. and they can fly (i know they're birds!)
