The man in the garden next to ours is ruining my afternoon. It's a beautiful, hot, breezy day outside and I have the door open while I'm working to let some air in, and the smell of the flowers outside and the noise of the birds... but now all I can hear is the noise of him mowing his lawn.
He mows his lawn every day, for hours at a time - seriously. Either he needs to get a better lawnmower so he doesn't have to do it so often, or he needs to get a hobby. Maybe he does it to escape his wife - she seems like a pain, she came to our house to complain about all the bonfires that we'd had once. We've never even had a bonfire! There are too many trees in the garden, we'd burn the whole thing down.
He'll ruin his lawn if he keeps on at this though, especially in this weather. It's going to get all scorched and die.
