My sister and I just headed out into our cold, dark garden on a treacherous mission to aid my dear mama in her cooking exploits; she was making linguine, and feeling too lazy herself had decided to leave thyme out of the recipe because she didn't want to fetch it. Feeling that this was a great injustice, I donned my cowboy boots and pulled my scarf up over my nose (like a yob) while my sister just stayed in her indoor outfit (foolish) to make the life-threatening trek into the foliage to fetch the vital ingredient.

What a ridiculous folly that was! Apparently, we have no torches in our house so I tried to use the pathetic light from my mobile to guide us in our quest, but to no avail. Clearly ericsson should have had the foresight to include a powerful beam of light for foraging... so instead we lit tea lights in a pretty fancy lantern... which wasn't much better, and we did admittedly nearly set the whole bloody lot of plants on fire. Think we probably disturbed all our neighbours, too, giggling like idiots and falling down all the steps.

In other news: my illustrations for my fashion project have been used as part of a display at uni - woop!

In other other news: yesterday's happenings 'caused a phone-based argument between me and the boy, which turned into a real-life argument today after our lecture. Fun fun fun! Mainly what happened was that I told him off, and he was frankly baffled by my pushing him away and being increasingly coarse with him before professing to me that he 'still has feelings' for me which... isn't what I need to hear right now. I feel like very time I get a little control over this whole mess, he just does something to grab it back from me.

BAH. (love oo)

xx

When used to work part time in a cinema I remember an usher who used to have a mobile with a light brighter than the sun itself. It came in useful the day that hordes of vampires attacked us. Would've worked well for herb picking too I guess wink
Hmm... what is the collective term for vampires? Horde? Gaggle? School?
