Oh god the dramas... loads of stuff's been happening, my house is an increasingly stressful and awful place to live in. Lucky I'm staying with the boy for a few days next week.
My mom's been storming about getting pissed 'cause she thinks we leave such a mess, and she's completely unreasonable and thoughtless about most things lately it seems. Yesterday I found out that I'd got shortlisted to appear in a book through a design competition that I entered, and the first thing she could think of to say (rather than any congratulations) was 'oh right, how much is that gonna cost you then?' not 'congratulations! Yay!' or similar sentiment. It felt like she was doubting that I could have won a credible competition and she actually really upset me.
Yesterday was a misery really. Everyone was having little digs at each other and mom's gone out this morning; I suspect to escape from us. We're taking one of our cats to the vet today which she doesn't want to deal with and I'm really worried about that, too. He's getting on a bit too which doesn't help.
Good things? I've been commissioned to design a tattoo for a friend, which will get me some MONEY. Which is vital.
