it seems to me that the bulk of the people here are in or near coastal states. of the known members anyway. off hand i cant think of one member from nebraska or west virginia. places like that. this is just what i have seen. many people use the location block for jokes or just dont bother i know, but all the more active members...

I was just using Sound Recorder for the sounds...when you save it, you can change the format and tweak the quality/size a little bit. I was using 22.5KHz, and 86K/s, 16bit stereo. But yeah if it's over like 8 seconds, it's going to be at least 1mb.
