well today was interesting to say the least. for the first time in my life i got pulled over by a cop for runing a red light. which was quite outragous in itself. "why?" you ask? simple. i was using my usuall method of transportation to get where i need to go.........................MY MOUNTAIN BIKE.
honest to god. a motorcycle cop was having a bad enough day that he pulled me over for running a redlight. *did it a second time just to piss him off*
i've run countless red lights in front of cops in the past (i've been getting around like this since i was 14) and this is the first time one was pissy enough to stop me. i found the whole experience pretty laughable. and a ran 5, maybe 6, more on the way home
on another note, today also lowered my virtually nonexistant respect for my ass kissing boss. i tell a couple wuth a noisy child to stand in the back of the theater as to not disturb the others watching the movie and they get all pissy and go running off the him. then he gets mad a me cause in their version i was "being rude to them". members think they walk on water and are above others when a members night is held. bosses like mine fuel that arrogence. if you desturbe others im going to step in. reguardless of who you are.

don't you hate the double standards applied to bike riders? no one wants to accept them as equals in traffic, (i always hear people complaining, 'ride on the sidewalk!' and such), yet cops can slap them with the same traffic violations they would give a automobile. anyway, it's a funny mental picture to think of someone on a bicycle getting pulled over! i hope you didn't get an expensive ticket.
