I took a walk today with an old friend. The air was cold and bitter, and nipped at my exposed nose. I came back in and had cereal, and watched a movie.

I'm thinking about cleaning my room today, and clearing a space to do yoga. I need exercise.

I need more motivation to find a job. I need to finish my resume. I need to find some way to make money.

Maybe I'll finish my knitting projects today. There isn't that much more to do.

I want a girlfriend. I have a date planned for after Christmas...when I have money. She's sweet...her name is Jasmine. I want to hold her hand, and put my arm around her during the movie. I want to hold her close, and kiss her softly. I want someone close to me that I can be myself with. I think I can be myself with her.

My mom and I brought up an advent calendar from the basement. Its a My Little Pet Shop Advent Calendar. My mom and I opened the first few together. Its sitting on my bookshelf, with two little...whatevers. Its cute. I feel like I'm five. After the concert with the symphony this weekend, I'm all giddy about Christmas.

I'm trying to make positive changes in my life. I can't believe it took losing my job to become unstuck. I've been stuck in this permanent funk, and now I'm starting to make some change. Some people are judging my changes. They're not worth my time.

My mom and I have decided to do a puzzle together. I'm not a puzzle person....but its sparkly and glows in the dark.

I think I'll make some tea and settle down with a good book.
