Good news is that they processed me quickly and gave me just about everything I asked for, minus my deductible of course.
Bad news is that due to my job suckage I've had some bills that have needed paying for a while, and I decided to do the responsible thing and take care of them while I had the cash. This doesn't mean I can't have my equipment back, but it does mean that in order to get back the same camera and still have enough for the few other essentials, I'll probably have to wait another month or so. Which, I guess, works out fine for you since you'll be getting inked all the way through August.
In the meantime, I can borrow the work camera here & there, which is better than nothing. I wish I wasn't so attached to Nikon; I'd probably save a few hundred bucks up front by switching to Canon, but I know I wouldn't be happy about it later. Just get your color done, and we'll do something in a few weeks, whether for here or just for fun.
