Well this is my third entry, but I have yet to say anything about myself, so I guess I'll go ahead and take care of that now.
My name is Kevin, I currently live up in North East Ohio (medina to be exact) where I've lived for nearly 6 years now. I was born down in Garland Texas, and lived in Allen Texas until the age of 12 where we ended up relocating up to Ohio (Due to the fact this is where 90% of my mom's family is).
Anyways, battled depression throughout high school and middle school (Depression runs on my mom's side of the family), and I think I've finally beat it, either that or it's seasonal and it will come back when winter starts :/. Anyways, I graduated from Medina High School and Medina County Career Center where I took Software Engineering and Web Development. Thanks to working at the career center I got the job I have now, programming for a company called Digital Healthcare Inc.
Going to a vocational school was probably the greatest influencial choice I've made in my life, it's a great way to advance yourself into a career. Right out of high school I started going to ITT Technical Institute where I'm taking the Software Applications and Development course.
I use to spend my time roleplaying on MSN chats from like the ages of 12-17, and I have to say that has shaped who I am more than anything. I've communicated with Rape victims, douchebags, druggies, whores, depressed people, children, and adults and so many more (including slaves and masters). While it was murder on my soul and heart, it did shape me into someone that I think is understanding and open minded more so than many around me. But that's for those around me to decide I guess, or at least witness? maybe.
While I spend time playing Counter-Strike, RPGs, hanging out with my girlfriend, and overall just browsing the web out of boredom, I also enjoy fictional writing (Usually short romantic scenes or fight scenes, since I never finish anything long term. Which is something I've been working on), and I use to write poetry.

depression runs on my dad's side of the family, and i've struggled with it all my life, so i know how it goes. therapy, diet, meditation and art are what keep it in check for me.
