Great start to a Monday morning I don't think. As I walk into work, a good 30 minutes, I usually wear a t-shirt in and get changed into shirt and tie when I get there. Today, got into work, headed into the toilets to change and at that moment realised my shirt and tie were still hanging up in the bedroom at home
So that's...

Loving this song at the moment.
Great Irish band in the Explosions in the Sky mould. The main guy recently produced an album by a band called Butterfly Explosion who I recently saw live and met. I'd love to say they have a great future ahead (the album is classic and live they were amazing) but in todays industry I can't see it. The music...

Pretty productive morning hopefully leading into a good all round day. Got up nice and early without a hangover (which made a refreshing change), did a fair bit of housework to get the house sorted, worked out, bit of lunch and hopefully now a long walk with my girlfriend and a few drinks in the pub at the end. Bottle of wine tonight and a...

Some of these e-mail scams are getting better as time goes by. I recently got an e-mail telling me that my job application at Google had been received and I'd hear something soon, click the attachment to get a run down on the job I applied for. A few faults in that one, obviously I'd know if I applied for a job in Google unless...

Aww. Your blog made me make a little frowny-sad-pouty face.
But before that, your comment made me smile, so I guess that neutralized my overall mood?
I think I'd be beasty at being a firelady. Busting into people's burning homes armed with an axe, oxygen, and my wits? Oh fuck yes.
Thankyou for the comment about the relationship, as well. It IS a lot of fun, regardless of how straight up weird it is. Interesting to see where it goes.
Hope you have a lovely day, Cookie.

Been having some strange dreams at the moment. Frustrating as well. My job seems to be seeping into my dreams. All night I toss and turn half alseep dreaing of numbers and trying to get them to reconcile. Only when they reconcile can I turn over and fall fast asleep only to start dreaming of a new set of numbers. I've also been having a...

HA... dreams are the mirrors of the soul... maybe you just have 4, 5, 8 no... 13 souls?... Fuck they won't reconcile how many!

Well that's my dreaming for tonight sorted. I do believe it'll involve the numbers 4, 5, 8 and 13
Throw in the letter D and Big Bird and you've got an episode of Seasame Street!
Off the drink, on the Green Tea, working out again (although the weights killed today). At least I get one week of good health before it falls apart again!
First good day in work for over a year nearly! My nemesis is on holiday this week and the change was unbelieveable. I felt like my old self again, having a laugh, cracking a few jokes. Should be a good week I hope, just dreading her return next week, but hey, that's when the mediation gets under way so hopefully things will improve from now...

So myself and alcohol are kinda having a bad time lately. My girlfriend found me asleep on the computer chair at 5am this morning basically surrounded by wine bottlles and I'm pretty much on course to do the same tonight. I think it's a month now non-stop drinking. Things have nose dived pretty quick. I'm hoping next week will be the stopping point. My nemesis...

Okay, seen the film I am Legend? Tell me about the dog? Spolier if you never read the book. I refuse to watch the film as the book was the most amazing thing I have ever read. I say thing, but christ it's a part of me I've read it so many times. Greatest 50's horror novel ever....greatest novel ever?

I thought the film was good in it's own right but I agree it didn't really do the book justice.

Guess I need to watch the film before I criticise it! I remember reading the book on a train to Manchester and nearly cried my eyes out reading the bit about the dog. I can't imagine why they'd deviate from the story so much on that bit, would have made great cinema! Great book though, think I may read it again today
You just wish sometimes people would tune in with you. I miss that. At Uni, music was the universal tuner, these days I'm a freak because I dont watch soaps, or express any kind of emotion over the death of a very poor fictional character.
