Strange one tonight. I know Ive had a history when it comes to drinking, Im the first to acknowledge this, but my days of excess Ive really buried in my past. I stay in control on an night out. Im the guy who makes sure everyone gets home okay in one piece. Im the bodyguard when someone kicks off and I have to bring them...

Woke up this morning and realised I'd been drinking non-stop since Thursday afternoon....and I felt it. Nothing worse than a long weekend and a birthday all in one! Out on the town on Friday for my 34th birthday and the drink just kept flowing into the next day. As Danny Glover would say "I'm getting too old for this shit!". So it's a green tea...

Sorry, I missed your birthday on Friday! So happy belated birthday! I am glad that you had a great time celebrating. *hugs* I hope you have had a wonderful Easter holiday!

Strange dream last night which involved both sorrow as well as contentment. My dreams have been insane lately. Basically if you plugged into my dreams you'd have a good few movies there.
This one though involved a relationship with a blonde Cameron Diaz lookalike. As far as I can remember it started out me on the street feeling a massive sense of loss. Then she...

Your dream seems somewhat like a movie. Or perhaps an old memory of losing a love one and remembering them from time to time when your mind is unoccupied. When someone is no longer in your life and they were a positive, memorable part of it, then we tend to dream about all the good times that person shared with us. Interesting though that your dreams are more story-like in nature. My dreams have been really weird. I think it is because I watch my boyfriend play video games so much. I have been dreaming about being part of a video game mixed in with real life scenarios. They tend to include people I am around on a daily basis. Maybe it is what we are being exposed to before we go to sleep. Something to think about, I suppose!
Great night last Saturday. Long walk in the afternoon, few drinks, followed by more, then my g/f decides we should make a night of it. I'm not normally a club person, the only club I'm comfortable in within Liverpool is Krazy House, the metal nightclub. So, it was decided Krazy House, but then we remembered a place about 10 minutes walk from our house that...

Long time no hear, my SG friend!
It is good to hear that you are having such a great time. I missed being a part of the community for several months and lost touch of what everyone was doing. My account got deactivated due to lack of funds, which was the result of a lot of drama, but that is a whole other story. However, the other day I was able to reactivate my account and I am so excited to back in the SG community.
As far as your blog is concerned, I am not much of a club person myself. There is a couple reasons for that. One, I hate crowds. I do not like having room to move and clubs are usually jammed packed full of people. Also since I use my wheelchair when there is a lot of walking involved, moving a wheelchair is some clubs is quite difficult due to the crowding factor. Thirdly, all the clubs in my state of West Virginia tend to play the same types of music. You either have the crap pop that is overplayed on every radio station being remixed by a d.j. Or you have the more common rap music being played. In this case, these songs are played in every version they have been made, so once again it is boring and repetitive. Finally, you have the less common clubs that tend to cater to the country music loving community. I am not a big fan of over played pop, rap, or country, so this ultimately leads to a dislike in clubbing. However, I think it is insanely awesome that where you live there are clubs that play rock and metal music, which is generally my favorite, although musically I like a little of everything. I will give anything a try once. Not to mention, that some of these same clubs are cover bands. That is so great. I love it when a song is covered by someone other than the original artist. Two things can happen in these cases. One, the band sounds like a replica of the original, so you enjoy yourself because it is like seeing the real band just in disguise. Or two, the cover band does the song completely different from the original artists perspective and makes it ever more awesome in nature. I tend to like acoustic versions of songs and acoustic covers for the very same reasons. As for the cover bands you mentioned coming up, I think the Rammstein one would be a killer one to experience. Heck, I would go by myself if something so awesome was happening in my hometown and I am so not a going solo person. Nonetheless, I hope things continue to go well for you and I look forward to keeping up to date on your blogs again! Keep me updated if you decide to check out any of those cover bands. I would interested to hear how they turn out!

Happy Paddys Day

Can't beat a bit of Porcupine Tree
Nothing much happening at the moment. Been a quiet week, keeping my head down and working. Celebrated my 14th anniversary with my g/f yesterday. 14 years, a long time and still going strong. We've been through it all and the fact we're still together says a lot.
Work was getting to me today, sitting in my naughty corner...

I LOVE THIS. YOU MAKE ME CHUCKLE MR. xxx
Owch I didn't need that! Hate it when you get hit by emotions you just don't want to acknowledge anymore but sometimes they're too strong to keep down.
Came out of accounting college this afternoon only to bump into my Nemesis on her way in. Basically she went with the head down straight on past attitude. again it momentarily hit me how strange it was...

So, after 2 days of running around like a headless chicken I think I have everything ready for my weekend back home in Ireland. Who would of that it'd be that much hassle just to sort out a few days away.
Part of me is looking forward to the rest and relaxation. The town where my sister lives is situated next to the Shannon and...

Family Feuds
Ick. Just families.
Ick.
As for the woman front - women want to be wanted. Paticularly stunning women, as their worth has been stifled down to just a material one (because that is the main interaction they get - the reaction to their looks). Situations like that happen when a woman wants attention, doesn't matter who it's from HA! She probably saw your reaction when she came in the room and so went with it. Sadly, I think so many women do this subconciously. Fickle vanity and a vain society leaves a lot of interactions as ego boosts I have noticed
Shallow and boring. The shit women do to make themselves feel beautiful and wanted ey. Hahaha... says I, who is on this posey site.
Course I could be wrong. Maybe she was just in a bad mood HA!

I believe there's a French philosopher who basically put across the idea that all women desire is to be adored. I can't remember his name but Edgar Morin rings a bell. I think his general idea was that everything women do in a social interaction or relationship is to attain adoration from the other sex, whether they are aware of it or not, and I personally believe the interaction relies on the materiallity and quality of the adoration. Some women are built to only accept the adoration they believe they are worth through their beauty. As you say, fickle vanity and a vain society. Thankfully not everyone is built that way but I've been unfortunate enough to meet a few over the past year or so
But fingers crossed she was just in a bad mood
Guess I'll soon find out this week, if she throws a chair at me maybe I can put it down to bad mood????
