only a few days left...
until the star returns to the sunshine state, but this impending fate leaves me to debate whether or not i should go. for even a star that shines so high, this sullen star is afraid to fly, for fear that he might fall. and after all is said and done, i will be greeted by the cali sun and my face will shine brighter than it has ever been. as i soak up that 100+ degree radiation into my skin, i will pretend that even then, im happy. I know all this may be sappy and despite that fact im gonna continue and the lingo of the west states best that i should keep my head up. but why bother to try when all the stars there lie and, and stars die and fall upon the ground. and once i even found a darken star and carried it up in my arms and carried it home. i gave it love and watched it glow and found myself feeling whole. when the star was once again lit, i smiled and had to once again forget. that this wasnt home and the stars are only out to burn you.
