What did you want to be as a kid, and what is your profession now?

How exciting, this is my first homework from @rambo and @missy! Hope I get a good grade xD

----

Well, this is an easy one!

Since I can remember I wanted to be a Veterinarian...and what did I study? Vet!

But do I work as a vet? Sadly, no, because in my country (Argentina) only the clinic owners have a good wage, most vets are hired without a contract and earn a sad amounts of money while working night shifts and many hours a week. A lot like human doctors, who are underpaid in Argentina as well.

So I currently work as a Recruiting Operation Analyst for a software outsourcing company and I'm currently studying to be a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative =D

And here are some pictures of myself working the hella out of these scrubs xD (Yeah, I got a small modelling job for Littmann, a stethoscopes company)

Growing up I wanted to serve in the Army, then afterwards become a policeman, take some law courses and end up a homicide detective.  Due to many factors that didn't come to pass.  So instead I've worked for the same company for fifteen years, working myself up through the ranks and positions to where I'm at now.  I just recently had a more ummm 'lateral promotion' happen.  I was the Assistant Manager at one of our branch stores; I'm not a 'Key Accounts Associate'.  Fancy sounding, I know! lol  Trust me as of now it isn't. Our company is going through many changes and shake ups since last year so right now we're fairly short handed.  Once the surrounding cubes in the cube farm I sit in get filled I may actually get to solely work on 'Key Accounts' but right now it pretty much means I do what I can, where I can for as long as the bosses need me to.

@lord_renob It sucks when our job doesn't makes us happy. On January I decided to quit my old job because it wasn't making me happy. I worked at a callcenter for 3 years, after one year I got promoted to team leader but they never raised my salary was I was earning the same, with double the work. After another year the company merged and decided they didn't need me as a leader anymore and got back to my old job. It was terrifying to quit but I got an amazing job now, at least for now it suits me. I hope things get better for you as well, sometimes change isn't that bad 😊
