Whew I got some sleep and feel much better. I heard from Genevieve, for those of you that have her as a friend. She and the family are alive. They are going to stay with family.

I was watching the news at the patrol desk Wed night and the guys were wishing they could go help with all the looters. It gets to you when your job is to help people and you can't.

I got a job offer in Yakima.....I haven't gotten a formal job offer but I made it past stage two.
I am really excited about this job, it will mean better training and more promotion potential. I can also try out for the SRT. I hope that I get past selection. I will be in the states and can actually meet some of the great people that are on here.

We are going tomorrow to celebrate my daughter's 16 b-day. We are going to a movie and she wants chinese food. The kids always get what ever they want for supper on their b-day's. It is just a family tradition. She also wants a big cheesecake assortment from Sams. I think we are going to see Transporter 2. She loves that guy, gets all damn gooey when she sees him.

Well I am going to let arcticminx have the computer now. Maybe we can buy another one pretty soon.
