Man it has been a long week of course finals week always is.
I apologize that it took so long to update this.
I bought a new truck...it isn't here yet but I am excited. I will take some pics and post them when I get it here.
I have to go down and get Minx's 4 wheeler tomorrow, it got recalled and I had to take it back.
Is any one else taking college classes? I have registered for Geography and American History II. I took a break from Math for a term and I will go back and finish it next term. I also got a tutor to help me cause I am a freakin rock when it comes to math.
Another question.....
If you could make a change in the present education system what would it be?
I think that if I could change one thing it would be to improve teachers benefits and salary. I think it is a travesty that civil servants like teachers and firefighters are paid salaries that barely keep up with the economy if they do at all and someone can get paid millions of dollars a year to throw or catch a ball.
If salaries were better there would be more interest in the teaching field which would lower the student to teacher ratio.
It is raining here, appropriate weather for the day. We have to go to a potlatch later for a young man that died. Brantley was 25. He was quiet but always smiling. He was a hard worker and had so much to give to us.
I wasn't really close to him but we have stopped and talked alot. I hope that his family finds a small amount of comfort in the knowledge that he has started a new life.
I was walking to my truck to go to work last wednesday and a Raven landed right in front of me. It looked me in the eye and then flew away. It made me think of Brantley.
