WOW! Has it been that long since I logged on here?
Well alot has changed. My baby is in her fourth week of Army basic training and doing well. She says she rocked the victory tower and loved the rapelling.
My next oldest is now married, pregnant and absolutely beautiful. Her husband is going into the Marines July 31st and we are very proud of him. He is like my own son.
My son has almost been in the Air Force for three years now and really wants to change his job.
My gorgeous minx is counting the days until I leave.
OH I DIDN"T TELL YOU DID I?
I got a new job. As of the 18th of July I will be changing agencies and will be moving to New Mexico. I am really excited. They offered me Brownsville TX, but I requested New Mexico and they let me change.
I will be leaving soon and driving out. I have to stop and see my friend Rosa and her man. I haven't seen them in forever. I will leave the family here so the baby can do her senior year here with her friends. Then next May I will come back up and pick up Minx, the oldest girl and my little grandbaby and take them back to NM.
Life is good!
I'm sorry for not keeping up with this but work has been a bear. The work load was a lot but I was literally fighting my boss and his boss because they are beauracrats and beleive that the government owes them something. I have always beleived that as a government employee I am a servant to the people and should execute my duties to the best of my abilities as efficiently as I can. Not them, they beleive that they are owed their paychecks. It's too complicated to explain here. Let's just say I fought the good fight and it came to an uneasy truce. I left all the records in the care of someone that could use them when the Inspector General comes to look and I told my partner that they could come take a statement from me any time. I decided to find a place where honor and integrity was held with regard. I found it and will be happy to take my place there.
