Sometimes you just have to take ahold of your own destiny and make your life what you want it to be.

I put in last Friday to be put back on the road. It will mean a pay cut but money isn't everything...and really in the long run I will make a little extra with the overtime they have. Arcticminx got a second job to help pay off some of those nagging bills. So I knew that there we was something that I could do as well. I am tired of the politics and the stupidity. I was sure that if I could get to a management position I could make a difference but alas I haven't even made a dent. So I will put the uniform back on and go back to doing what I love to do.

In other news it has been pretty damn cold here...-12 to -35 and all around in there. I got offered a job in CA, I wonder if it is warmer during the winter there? I don't think I will have to plug in my truck to get it to start every day or make sure that the wood pile is big enough during the summer! hehehe
