The concert tonight was awesome. Now it was less because of because of Bright Eyes and more because of beer and the opening acts. I had never heard of Mars Black and The Faint before buying the Bright Eyes ticket. I misse most of the Mars Black set because I was at another bar, but what I heard as fun. They are a talented rap band. Now The Faint was awesome I would have swore they were frm Europe, but the girls I met tonight said they were from Nebraska, same place that Bright Eyes is from. Nebraska - many would say that a person from Minnesota shouldn't question that. So the faint was fun fast techno music. The band had a great energy. Goofy dancing, cool lyrics, and beat that had everyone dancing. A good friend of Conner's the lead singer of Bright Eyes needs to tell him that his new music isn't as good as his old. I know the place didn't really start hoping again after The Faint until Bright Eyes play a couple of their old songs. It was a quality night. I think there is a chance that the next time Bright Eyes is in town in will suck because they will be playing in our Metro Dome or some huge place with a bad sound system.
