So Chicago is big. I took the subway all week with some scattering of cabs. Lots of walking though. The subway certainly is interesting. Someone was saying we were staying at the oldest running hotel in the midwest? It is a very nice hotel. It was a coworkers second choice of favorite hotels that fell into the work budget. I guess the first choice was booked.

There was a model convention happening at the hotel. Sounds better then it was because it was for teenagers and they were running around swarming everywhere. It was difficult getting on the elevators there was so many.

One night we went to Kingston Mines and heard some great blues and ate ribs. All of the people there were a hoot. I had a blast!

I ate a lot of great food! Worked too hard and drank too much. So I am recoverying now and trying to get ready to do it all over again next week. Washing clothes and repacking. Now that I know the routine I am going to pack less heavy stuff. Not bringing the laptop this time cause I didn't use it and it is a heavy pain to carry around. I am sure I will need this time though! We are staying in the coworkers first choice hotel, I can't remember the name of the hotel and I don't have anything on my travel information. oh well -
