So I finally got a job offer. Turns out it would seem I am currently being well paid for my services. The not saying what I make to the possible future employer while interviewing didn't work out exactly how I would have liked? I think from now on I will go the route where I either tell the potential employer what I need to make or I will tell them what I make. Cause it kind of sucks to go through the interviews and effort and get an offer for the money I already make or less. I told the person who presented me with the offer what I am currently making while I was reading the offer. I said there is some risk involved in leaving a good job for another company and making a lateral move might not be very smart. He said he didn't think he could do much with the salary, but he should be able to do something with the signing bonus? I have a sneaky suspicion that had I just said what I made during the interview process I would have gotten an offer 8 to 10 percent more then what I make?

Now this other company is probably a better company and I may have a better future there? I have a lot of friends at my current work and I do feel some loyalty.

Oh well - there is worse problems.
