living in the desert sometimes you don't realize that it doesn't rain often until it does. i'm staying up late istening to the rain because i don't remember the last time i heard this sound. i grew up smelling the ocean and seeing the waves tumble into the shore line. nights like tonight remind me to appreciate the little things that surround you.

I love that rain smell...there is just something about it that is comforting. And the sound of a hard, driving thunderstorm that is relaxing. I sleep like a rock when it storms like that
