Hello lovelies!
For me this week has really been about creature comforts. I am a never pay full price kind of person so I don't frequent shopping malls, in fact I can't remember the last time I bought clothes outside of Savers. I am bad at remembering to go out and buy all the things I won't buy second hand.
This week I used the money from extra shifts I covered to go to a department store and treat myself. Do not underestimate how good a new pair of cotton panties and socks can make you feel, everytime I get dressed I feel like I've got my shit 75% more together than usual.
I've been trying not to waste the extra motivation so I am going to the gym more. It hurts but I suffer from chronic pain so it's going to hurt anyway, I might as well feel good about it. I am realising now how much I rely on my arms and legs because of my back pain. See me kicking ass on the squat rack only to look like a flailing fish doing an ab workout.
Another happy note, my birthday present arrived! It's Dr. Mrs. The Monarch being a pinup babe on a t-shirt, I am so in love I had to take a few selfies.
I've also been editing some photos from a fire jam at the start of the year. I am really loving a few shots and considering entering them into local or online competitions to get some feedback.
Phew, good but exhausting week. I hope everyone has a great weekend (if not consider buying socks).
