Yeah, I know it's been a while since I last updated. Fenny and I have been keeping very busy. Between work, creating all sorts of cool art projects, going on lots of fun dates, and planning the East Coast Camping Trip, neither of us has had much time to get online for our usual helping of SG. I'd say we miss you all, but we've been too distracted with doing fun things to even think about you. Ok, don't cry, I'm just kidding. We missed you, a little.
Last weekend on Friday night we went out to dinner and then saw Bewitched with Nicole Kidman and Will Farrell. It was light hearted enough to be good for a few laughs. Nicole Kidman looked great as usual.
Saturday was a non stop, fast paced, blur of a day. We headed over to Coney Island to catch the Mermaid Parade and to ride the Cyclone. That was a blast. We hung out with NYMatt and Mle while we were there. As soon as the parade ended we were back home to NJ to go to the SGNJ Formal Bowling Night. All dressed up in fancy outfits our group bowled like chumps, eh, I mean champs. That was a very fun night with a great bunch of people.
Monday we tried to catch the Daily Show with Jon Stewart by getting on the stand by line. That didn't work out too well, unfortunately. Apparently his studio is tiny. There were only like 40 people in line and they said it was over booked. Oh well, maybe we'll try for Conan O'Brien before the summer is out.
This weekend was a little more tame, but no less fun. Friday we spent working on a painting together that, so far is coming out incredible. I just have to say that she is wicked talented at art. You just have to see the pillows and handmade postcards she makes. They are the coolest. (and for sale
)
Last night we went out to dinner and then I took her out to a strip club for the very first time ever. She seemed to enjoy herself aside for the fact that it was bitterly cold in there, and all she had on was a slinky little, sexy, red dress. Yup, she looked very hot, as you can well imagine.
Of course this weekend has not really ended yet, what with tomorrow being the Fourth of July and all. Which just so happenes to be one of my favorite holidays of the year. And BK_Unknown hosting one of SGNY's coolest events. The Third Annual Rooftop BBQ. This is always one of the most fun parties of the year and tends to be sort of a kick off to the camping trip in some ways. At least that's how it's always felt to me anyway. The smell of grilled food, people having a blast, and great music all day long. Truly an event to remember.
So that's just the beginning of things to come. This summer may very well wind up in the history books as the best on record for me. I mean still to come is, another trip down to Virginia Beach this weekend, we're hitting Shakespeare in Central Park next Monday, obviously the Camping trip on July 14th,and The Warp Tour in mid August. Also you may want to put this on your calendar's now. We are going to be hosting a party at my house for Fenny's birthday on August 19th. Keep that in mind. We'd love to have you all come hang out.
