I've decided that since Thanksgiving and Christmas were basically complete and totally family flops that for my upcoming birthday, rather then face the inevitable task that they will ignore me again, I'm going to go and spend an obscene amount of money on getting myself a new tattoo. Narrowing down which idea to get wasn't easy since I have about 15 different designs of things I want to get in my head at all times. But it has been chosen. I'm going to be working on a half sleeve on my upper right arm. It'll be a piece based around the original Charles Addams' drawings of the Addam's Family. I want to get Mortica and Gomez in front of the house that they made famous. That house is actually in my hometown and Charles Addams grew up here and went to the same high school that I did. So in a way it's a tribute to him and his achievements. But in another way it's just going to be a bad ass tattoo.

Update

Ok, online research thus far has not been very rewarding because apparently the estate of Charles Addams has made a request that none of his cartoons appear on the internet. But what I have found isn't too bad. A couple of cool pictures to work from and I bought one of his books on eBay the other day.
