This weekend took me in many directions I hadn't completely intended.

The basic plan was to go to Philly and hang with the SG crew that were all meeting up at a benefit for tsunami relief. Ok, that happened. The next part was to head back with Morgan and Mle to Delaware and crash at her house. Check. Then the idea was for me to assist Morgan getting back home to Virginia on the train by using my hook up. No problem.

Thing was I had really only planned to get her on the train and ride with her to Baltimore and then head back from there. Don't ask me to explain how it would work, it's too complicated to understand, it's just what I was going to do.

Well, the conductor I spoke with had no problem giving us a courtesy ride, but only to Washington DC, because that was as far as his crew took the train. At which point I would have to check with the next crew for the remainder of the trip.

You confused yet? No? Ok, read on. Well, in DC we got the permission, and got back on board to get her situated and I was going to get off and head home from there. Whoa, why are we moving? I need to get off. Shit, too late.

Soooo, long story short, I ended up in Virginia crashing at Morgan's place to catch a 7 AM train home. Well, not home, but back to Delaware to hang with Mle a bit more. Got there around noon and we had a wonderful lasagne dinner which she cooked for me (I ate my leftovers already, btw). Sat around listening to Bowie and A Perfect Circle and told stories all afternoon long.

So, in a nutshell I have been in far more states today that I ever had expected. And then, I got to go to work tonight... FUN!!!!

And now... bedtime.
