I can't recall if I made any specific resolutions last New Year's except maybe to keep the year interesting. It was that alright and more. 2004 took twists and turns in all sorts of different directions; some bad, but mostly good. I logged a tons of miles traveling all over the place. And had a blast nearly every where I went. It will be remembered as one of the better years for sure.
For 2005 I'm making a short, but attainable list of goals. Not stuff I have been putting off really, just stuff I should be working on a bit more dillagently.
1 Lose that last 10 lbs of the 30 that I have been working on.
2 Get back to restoring the '69 Buick.
3 Find a higher paying job in sunny San Francisco, California.
4 Oh yeah, move to San Fran too.
5 Maybe meet some non-neurotic, cute, tall, thin girl.
Let's hope that I can achieve at least some of those things.
So, anyway, I hope your New Year's plans are as fun as mine. I'm going to Pittsburgh to DJ penny's party and I'm going to rock the place. I have so many good tunes picked out. I can't wait to play. There's just something about DJing to a big crowd that is so exciting. The adrenaline pumping through your viens. The music thumping. After 12 years it's never gotten old. And some of the best gigs I've ever played have been on New Year's Eves. People want to have a good time. They want to let lose the troubles of the entire year in one night. They want a fresh start. And it's the prefect night to do it.
Happy New Year to you all.
