I don't move around much anymore. I used to, but not by choice. After my parents divorced when I was 15 I moved 5 times in 6 years. I've been pretty stable for the last 7, but I really think that is going to change soon. After my second trip to San Francisco last weekend it's pretty definite that I'm going to move there. I've already started looking into finding a new job, and once that is a bit more secure I'm going to work on finding a place to live. This is going to be a huge step for me, but one I finally feel I'm ready to take. a few years ago I was all set to move to Philadelphia when that fell through. The person I was going to get a room with backed out at the last minute. This time however, I'm going it alone. I've always been more of an independant person, so it makes sense. I'm pretty confident that I'm making the right choice and that in the long run I will be very happy there. Only time will tell.

I LEFT MY HEART IN SAN FRANCISCO (Tony Bennett)

The loveliness of Paris
Seems somehow sadly gay
The glory that was Rome
Is of another day
I've been terribly alone
And forgotten in Manhattan
I'm going home to my city by the bay.

I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me.
To be where little cable cars
Climb halfway to the stars!
The morning fog may chill the air
I don't care!
My love waits there in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come home to you, San Francisco,
Your golden sun will shine for me!

SAN FRANCISCO (Alkaline Trio)

Choking on the thought of leaving,
Drinking to keep from sobbing
4pm, 4 dollar pints
SFO
the time and price.

With all my happiness aborted,
the PA painfully starts boarding
I sink deep
30 thousand feet into my window seat
electric chair
and I was drinking you goodbye
A heart floats in the bay
From sour home Chicago
I hear it beating far away
There's no telling what I'll do
If I don't return to you.

Hopeful thoughts of soon returning,
can't put out my stomach burning.
Plastic wings and plastic smiles
Unsalted peanuts stretch my miles.

Choking on the thought of leaving,
Drinking to keep from heaving
5pm 5 dollar pints
Hellbound Airlines
time and price.
and I was drinking you goodbye
A heart floats in the bay
From sour home Chicago
I hear it beating far away
There's no telling what I'll do
If I don't return to you.

I was drinking you goodbye
A heart floats in the bay
From sour home Chicago
I hear it beating far away
There's no telling what I'll do
If I don't return to you.

SAN FRANCISCO (Vanessa Carlton)

I, I know what you did
Like a boy of summer gives his first kiss
Love, is dancing on my finger
He got to the heart of the matter and lingered
Now Im walking with the living
I always liked Steinbeck and those old men whistling

Were back, were back in San Francisco
Were back and you tell me Im home

Talking in the Mission
Over coffee this is my utopia
Then Ill be your lady
As the ocean rises, the sun is fading

Were back, were back in San Francisco
Were back, were back in San Francisco
Were back, were back in San Francisco

And now I feel the ever after
Over red wine on the eve of summer
The buzz, the buzz of the city
As we settle in its majesty
I, I know what you did
Like a boy of summer gives his first kiss

Were back, were back in San Francisco
Were back and you tell me Im home

You tell me I am home
You tell me I am home
You tell me I am home
Back in San Francisco

And I know what you did in San Francisco
I know what you did in San Francisco
San Francisco

I can bring my mixer. It's a pretty good one, too.
I thought this whole time that Will had his own decks.
