I have a new phone, so if you need to reach me I'm up and running, same number. Also my old phone was found and will be returned to me by mail, so I didn't lose any important numbers after all. What a fucking relief.

Camping was... ...if you missed it, you'll never know how good it was. That's all I can say. I loved...

Things are looking up. I applied for a really cool job working on the railroad. Sounds odd to those of you that know me, but I'll explain a little more down the line if it pans out. Basically it's a supervisor position where I'd be a boss instead of a laborer. Keep your fingers crossed for me that this comes through.

My music project is...

I'm surprised you asked me about the Verve...I had to everyone around the campfire when I pulled that piece of paper out of the hat that I almost got caught masturbating by my parents and I was blasting the Verve. Moonshine cherries makes one forgetful! yesss indeed!
Are you into Afghan Whigs? I have tickets to go see the gutter twins this Sat., one of the twins is Mark Lanegan from Afghan Whigs.

Yeah, I personally ( I haven't read all of his writings yet ) thought lullaby was his best I have read. I loved it. Unfortunately for me it was also the first book of his I read so some of the others while still amazing have just not compared in my opinion to that of lullaby

You were missed at Gala.

Related to your previous entry, check out Ulrich Schnauss if you don't know his stuff. Reminds me of My Bloody Valentine at times.

Well, I would suggest you

A) Write the group owner in the rudest way possible about it

B) Hitchhike and take any free candy offered to you

or

C) Start walking now.

Hope to see you there! biggrin

I was given a box of jelly beans by _Pie_. Now normally I love jelly beans, but these are Harry Potter jelly beans with flavors like dirt, earthworm, earwax, booger, and vomit. I'm really torn because of how much I love jelly beans and how awful they taste. I don't know whether to throw them away or eat them all.

April is Autism Awareness month. Like most people I used to not think much about the disease, but recently I've found myself touched by it in a number of ways.

Initially, I found out a co-workers son had it and through listening to tales of his struggles and accomplishments I started to learn more about how difficult it can be to cope with the disorder....

the place is like three blocks from north, so i don't really have to worry about the noise from there. i just wanted to make sure it wasn't randomly a high crime area or something. we may end up being sort of neighbors. i guess being like three minutes away counts

Today I learned something very interesting about St. Patrick's Day.

Wikipedia

In Argentina, and especially in Buenos Aires, all-night long parties are celebrated in designated streets, since the weather is comfortably warm in March. People dance and drink only beer throughout the night, until seven or eight in the morning, and although the tradition of mocking those who do not does not exist, most people...

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate the feedback. I want to make sure you know that I know that the photo quality of my camera would never be acceptable fpr a standard set. Lo fi is okay for the self shot contest (this may be too low, I'm unsure). I shot with a photographer last month. I'm still waiting on results. I hope you are having a chipper Saturday. xxooxx

"We are the ones we've been waiting for."

It was a creed written into the founding documents that declared the destiny of a nation.

Yes we can.

It was whispered by slaves and abolitionists as they blazed a trail toward freedom.

Yes we can.

It was sung by immigrants as they struck out from distant shores and pioneers who pushed westward against an unforgiving wilderness....
