writing an internet journal on a friday night. the dude abides.
i just sat staring at this screen for like 5 minutes... i really have nothing to talk about. my life is very very boring. i shaved my head yesterday... i think i'm going to just buy an electric razor and keep it that way, cause my hair looks stupid and i'm sick of fishing hair out of my drain after every shower i take. i also went to mervyns and got some pimp corduruoy pants for 13 bucks, and some black t shirts, so i should be set for clothes for this year.... the gay guys seem to dig me even more than usual what with me running around with a shaved head and a tight black tshirt. great, one gender down, one to go. i've been feeling sort of.. claustrophobic lately. all the time, not just indoors... weird.
since i am collecting my student loan in a few days, i have gone on a cd buying spree lately. here is what i have bought in the past week:
boris- "absolutego"
nonesuch explorer series- "javanese gamelan vol. 2 &3"
biosphere- "substrata"
black dice- "beaches & canyons"
jon auer/ken stringefellow- "private sides"
shalabi effect- "trial of st. orange"
hangedup- "kicker in tow"
i think boris is my band of the week. they are a super heavy japanese drone metal band, like a lot of the southern lord stuff, but the guitarist is an adorable 5 foot tall girl with big cartoon shoes and stuff. boris is the perfect band.
i'm going to have to do something drastic or this may be the most boring weekend in the history of weekends. my back hurts from sitting in front of my computer all the time. oh well, i gotta go watch the conan o brien after-blackout party special. sniff you jerks later.
