Me: Why are people so wierd?

....that bit of conversation took my breath away.
So, if anyone has noticed lately, property values have gone sky-high and apartments are now going for the ransom of a first born male. It seems quite a few of us on here are in the apartment hunting hell right now, i know Voltaire and Irina can both feel me on this one. So yesterday i took my app to this apartment that was a sure thing... but somehow, a guy had showed up an hour before me, and submitted his app and the landlord sent it to process before mine. Sooo.. if he checks out, she HAS to give the place to him! Even though she doesnt like the guy!! Isnt that the pits?
Im becoming more and more convinced that having an apartment is just a luxury of lonliness that i cannot afford. *sigh*
I was having a horrible nightmare this morning that KhaymanIPX was back from Iraq, but couldnt deal with anyone, not even me, and was hiding at his moms house. I was going insane trying to be with him, and all he would do was push me away and tell me it wasnt the right time. Well, just as i was getting to that point in the dream where i begin crying out in my sleep, my cell phone broke thru the hell dimension i had fallen into, and shortly after answering, i heard his voice... My beloved called me all the way from Iraq and with snuggly words, saved me from a terrible nightmare. ::swoon:: *sigh* 'My Hero!'
Oh, and lots of things are happening on the 'husband in army' front... alot of decisions being made about whether or not to stay in the military, as right now, its the only stable (however deadly) job market at the moment. Although, i have to remind him, and I, that more people are still killed by drunk drivers each year than have died in the war. However, i did not research how many drunk drivers were Iraqi and driving shitty tanks.
I could ramble on forever right now.. lol, i will spare ye all.
