Well, i think the Coachella heat and toxins are finally out of my system. I am still trying my best to avoid the sun, as i now look like a beach kitten (grrr!).

: I looked at the most amazing, sweet, enchanting little apartment yesterday in Old Torrance. Its so perfect for me and the kitties! In fact, the apartment comes with a cat, he is 20 years old and the former tenant was told he wouldnt make the trip to FL. when she moved, so she had to leave him behind. Well, the dirty furrball loves me, and if i get this place, i fully plan on taking him on as my charge. He needs grooming (massive tangles of dirty white fur), vitamins to keep him strong, and some healthy senior cat food to bulk him back up. Most of all, he needs love. The lady who interviewed me really liked me, and said i got major bonus points for the cat's approval.
So keep your fingers crossed!!
OOH YAY! Mailman just showed up with my blankies that my friend had to ship to me from Germany! And my new book to review arrived as well!
Off to read the Bergdorf Blondes...

I was just talking to my friend about always wanting to live in a appt. above something in Old Torrance. Its so cute & homey. so woohoo! for you new place!
I still, to this day, can not go up there with out having my stomach drop. So many memorys, bad and good. The moment I enter the city limits I get shivers. In '92 my Dad commited suicide off the cliffs at Point Ferman. But even though there has been horrible events that have happend there over the years....I still find it one of the most wonderful and peaceful places.
