I had a date tonight.
For all outward appearance, it contained all the qualities that a girl would swoon for in a date.
We walked around Venice Beach in the fog. Smoked a bowl on the sand. Talked about all our favorite music. Walked back up the sand, went and had a pitcher of beer at the sidewalk cafe. Walked back to the car. More good conversation. Drove to Sunset and had dinner at Carney's, the place that is made out of the railway car. Ate decent burgers and horrible chili fries. Then drove down Sunset to PCH.
I asked him not to take PCH, but he thought it would be romantic. Yeah, well, so did my ex when he proposed to me right off of Sunset and PCH.
It was one of those dates that people script into TV shows.
And i didnt feel a thing.
Not one damn thing.
Fuck.

That sucks that you didn't feel anything on your date. If you just broke up though, it might be while before you're completely over your ex. Best of luck though.
