My best friend in the whole world got confirmation last night that he has indeed been offered a job in the UK, and yes, he is taking it. Within 2 weeks, he will be gone to the fabulous other-side of the pond, and i will be here, snuggled up to couch cushions. I was so happy to be able to be there at the moment he got the job, he was elated, plenty of hugs and smiles. He even fell asleep with a smile on his face, something he never does. However, i fell asleep a bit sad, and woke up thinking it was a nightmare, but it wasnt.
I am going to make sure the next few weeks are perfect for him, and he is spending his last night here with me. I am exchanging his Xmas present that i already bought him (a 40 game Atari old skool system) to get a really neat tribal necklace for him/us. I saw them at Universal City Walk when we saw Harry Potter, its like those old skool "best friends" necklaces that you split, but it fits together all tribal style and says something different. That way we will each have half.
